Jeez, when the weather in London turns, it really does the whole 180 degrees.

Two weeks ago it was still two jacket weather. Now it is annoyingly warm.

A visiting Brisbane friend of mine actually laughed in my face when I described this to her as a heatwave (daily temperatures of around 25 to 30 C). And I would have laughed three years ago. But that's the nature of English weather; you get used to continual bleakness then when you have more than two days of sunshine it fries your circuits and your body panics. My flatmate is going insane because he works nights and it's too hot to sleep in the days right now.

In other news: have just turned in all my copy for this issue of the magazine. And I already have one interview to transcribe and turn into a feature for the next issue. Yay!

A couple of weeks back I met a sub-editor on the magazine who told me that she was going to write a house style-guide, which would be incredibly useful. I should see how she's going with that.

Now that writing commitments are sorted for the moment, I can divert my attention to other things that need doing; over the last couple of months I've let myself get a little out of shape, so I need to start training again. Not to mention other creative writing things I'm trying to do on my own.

Plus all the personal maintenance stuff I need to do.

Anyways, enough for now.

Over and out.
